This is a 28mm water filter adapter designed for the Sawyer Squeeze and the Katadyn BeFree clean side. This adapter has a vent to allow the pressure to equalize in both water vessels to prevent a vapor lock — allowing for faster filtering.

Each adapter comes with 2 caps: one for the clean side of the adapter and, for Sawyer users, one for the dirty end of the filter when not in use. Katadyn users will have an extra cap in case of loss or failure. You also have your choice of tether color that attaches the clean side cap to the adapter. You can click on this link and watch the video on YouTube to help you understand more about how it works. UPDATE: THIS ADAPTER DOES NOT WORK WITH THE KATADYN BEFREE AC OR THE PLATYPUS QUICKDRAW. The BeFree AC and Platypus have significantly different thread patterns. Please reach out if you have compatibility questions.
